Final day of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, was a visit to the seaside town of Oban, we visited the McCaig's Tower, designed by John Stuart McCaig as a lasting Monument to his familiar, it does look a little like a Roman Colosseum. I didn't manage to get a lot of pictures this day, as my camera was being battered by rain, but it was a beautiful place and would love another visit.
Day 6 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, first we visited beautiful port town in Morar called Mallaig, followed by a absolutely stunning beach there called silver sands of morar. It was a more relaxed day and we enjoyed the weather and relaxed. Visually stunning places.
Day 5 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, next up was a visit to Loch Elit and the Island of Eilean Na Moine, also used as part of the Black Lake in Harry Potter, famously Dumbledore's resting place. After this we visited Glen Nevis, went on a trek to reach the Steall Falls, as used as a location in Harry Potter, both locations where visually stunning.
Day 5 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, was a visit first to the Glenfinnan area, in these images are the Glenfinnan Monument in memory of the Jacobite Rising and the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the Viaduct famously features in Harry Potter, the Journey to Hogwarts, the Hogwarts Express crosses this, unfortunately of which I am gutted the train wasn't running and hasn't run all season, but the Viaduct itself is absolutely amazing and was amazing to see up close.
Day 5 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, was a visit first to the Glenfinnan area, in these images are Loch Shiel, and is one of the lochs used as the Black Lake in Harry Potter, like during the Triwizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire.
Day 4 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, we took a trip to the Isle of Skye, first stop was to see the Fairy Pools in Glenbrittle. Absolutely gorgeous, wonderful walk and the weather was on our side.
Day 4 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, we took a trip to the Isle of Skye, next up was a visit to Portree, the capital of Skye, beautiful place, perfect for an Ice Cream in the sun and a wander to soak up the wonderful landscape.

Day 4 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, we took a trip to the Isle of Skye, we stopped off for a couple of photo opportunities on route, to see Ben Nevis, Eilean Donan Castle and the Bridge to Skye.
Day 3 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, these images are from our last stop today, which was to see Cuil Bay, was quite windy when we got there, but still a beautiful place.
Day 3 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, these images are from a stop off for a wander around Castle Stalker and Linnhe Marina. Again feel like im repeating myself but stunning.
Day 3 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, these images are from Fas Na Cloiche and the Fairy Bridge of Glen Creran. Lovely Bank Holiday walk we went on, beautiful scenery, stunning stone bridge, very magical, would definitely recommend a visit.
Day 2 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, these images are from the Three Sister of Glencoe, three iconic, towering mountain ridges, and its surrounding area. Utterly breathtaking landscape, absolutely beautiful.
Day 2 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, the first 6 images are from the Glencoe Mountain Resort, where we went up in a ski lift to see the stunning views from the top of the Mountain. The other Images are from Glen Etive, stunning landscape, the waterfall here was used in James Bonds Skyfall.
Day 2 of our trip to the Scottish Highlands, the first to images are of Loch Linnhe, outside our accommodation. The rest of the Images are from Clachaig Gully, Glen Coe, which is location of Hagrids Hut, in Harry Potter. Absolutely stunning landscape.
Travel day up to the Scottish Highlands, stopped off at Loch Lomond and Rannoch Moor on way to our accommodation, Rannoch Moor, was used as a filming location for the Harry Potter Movies as a backdrop for the Hogwarts Express, notably in Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Prisoner of Askaban.
Finally at Day out to Tatton Park, in between the Mansion visit and the visit Yuletide light trail, had a wander around the parkland and got to see some Deer.
