Studio Introductions: Kira
It’s your friendly neighborhood studio tumblr moderator! No, really, I’m the one in charge of this particular little corner of our studio doings, with input from everyone else, obviously.
My primary function here at Moonkist Designs is as a production monkey, which means I make a lot of the jewelry we sell. I’m still sort of in training for some things, but I’m making progress and this means that a lot of the tips and tricks related posts I’ll be doing will be from my perspective. I also fill in over in Admin periodically.
I moved down to South Carolina from Ohio in November of 2015 and it’s been a slight culture shock. But I’m enjoying it down here so far (there’s mountains!) and I’m really enjoying working in the studio. My absolute favorite description of what I do for a living is “forcibly arguing with metal until it looks pretty.” It’s a fairly apt description.
