two heroes shiori! my younger sister got invited to her school's prom today and i saw her in her dress, which inspired me to draw this version of shiori!

first drawing i was experimenting a little bit with my artstyle while emulating horikoshi's artstyle, and the second i just tried to revert back to the anime's artstyle

was getting kiraboshi's reference figured out and i messed around with some outfits for her! i don't know if i really like them or if they're finished but oh well it's what i got for now

some small incoherent infodumps under the cut!

her full name's shiori kiraboshi and her quirk's called crystallize, so she can basically make crystals grow around or on her. she uses them as spikes that quickly grow out of the ground to attack or to make big walls and pillars for defense (she's better at defense than offense)

she also gets to be in class 1-a because of course she does! what mha oc is ever complete without being in 1-a? also it's sad to me if she doesn't get to interact with some of the mha characters because it might be funny. and i refuse to miss any comedy opportunities

to get get around this and the whole "only 20 students in each class," i'm probably just going to add an additional student in each class so they're all equal and call it a day. more students that get additional development never hurt the narrative or canon story anyway

i'm still figuring out her lore but she was probably overprotected as a young child and didn't ever get any freedom. so now she's super determined to prove that she's independent and also she's afraid to lose the freedom she has now. she leans towards being a kuudere so i feel like that would also help explain why she's so guarded with her emotions. it's a win in my book anyways since kuudere characters with rbf are up there as one my favorite types of characters
