I’m hearing Kiramekko plushies are coming to the USA to ride on the Labubu craze, and I’m pretty sure they’re also trying to ride on the hype for the Chiikawa movie that releases in July 💛
I read that the first wave of mystery Kiramekko x Chiikawa vinyl plushies had the Japanese public so upset because people weren’t lucky to get the character they wanted, that the company decided to drop the whole mystery gimmick for the Sanrio collab, and Boy, it killed the scalper market mystery boxes were building! 😄
