there’s an etsy boycott until next week (april 18th) to protest increasing fees and other shady nonsense
I’m still very tired >n<
just a short one today.

@theraphos said: haha "tag yourself I'm sleep kirby" just ended up being my tag for sleep kirby anything cause I used it so much (same w/gooey) and I forgot it does look silly oops :9
that might make it even funnier tbh XD it’s certainly cute.
@ceylonsilvergirl was playing [spot] the [boy] on the tiny kirb drawings which is very cute tbh

@ceylonsilvergirl said: I think our pink friend might be shrinking. that tiny • – • is killing me tho. if you think about it, white blood cells are essentially microscopic kirbys. kirbies? what is the plural? I’ve officially lost my mind 🙃
I usually use “kirbies” but I don’t know that there’s actually a standard. and there’s many types of white blood cells but you’re right that there is one particular type that just finds things labeled “enemy” by the helper cells and straight-up eats them, which is very kirb-like behavior XD

from the ask box:
anonymous said: Hi! I love your art! Can’t get enough Kirby on my dash. Kirby canonically uses He/Him pronouns, so I am lead to believe he identifies as male not non-binary.
hi, thank you! we covered this in the last reply roundup as well, but someone using he/him pronouns isn’t automatically a binary person. many binary people do use he/him pronouns, but a significant number of nonbinary people do too. (including me! they’re not my go-to but I’m perfectly fine with being called he/him. and besides that, headcanon and fanart are not beholden to canon as some ultimate authority!) your headcanon and mine don’t have to match, and that’s okay. personally, though, I like thinking of kirby as nonbinary, and since this is my blog I will continue using that in my art and comments :>
@kirborb mentioned it was their birthday today, and they liked [the last] kirby and pooh drawing I made so here’s a new one! their blog is a great curation of kirby art and it’s where I found a lot of the artists that I reblob here.
