Title text: I'm trying to prove that mathematics forms a meta-abelian group, which would finally confirm my suspicions that algebraic geometry and geometric algebra are the same thing.

oh man that really sucks :( I hope she has better luck in future, I've often done well with like, medical residents as primary care? because I know what I'm talking about by this point and they're new enough to want to defer to someone else anyway. that does also mean I need a new pcp every couple years tho since they finish their programs and move away -n-

not technically kirby related but there's a cute little slice of life series called poyo poyo kansatsu nikki that I stumbled upon browsing crunchyroll years and years ago, about a very round cat. who also says poyo. I think I've drawn him once. tbh I think of him first when I hear poyo, but I think of kirby first when I hear hi.

Help Pay Vet Bill

ferret update: mochi is home, and clearly feeling a lot better with the steroids. he will almost definitely not get better (it’s most likely cancerous and pretty far along), but he will be comfortable and happy for a while at least. one of arin’s friends was generous enough to give us a ride (and chat about good places to live on the way haha)

the vet bill of course is uh. Big. right now it sits at about $860 for all the imaging and blood tests and overnight care and medications, but that doesn't include the prescriptions we need to pick up or the follow-up in a couple weeks. (or the prescriptions and follow-ups beyond that. he’s gonna be on meds for the rest of his life, however long that is.)

I had enough cushion that we can handle this emergency, but since I’m disabled and arin’s trying to get through med school this drastically shrinks our cushion for the next emergency, with little hope to grow it again until arin’s done with school. so if you can’t do anything, that is fine, you do not need to feel guilty, I will not starve. however, it does put us in a significantly more precarious position, and I’d rather ask for help now than when there is a chance I’ll starve, ya dig?

“life coaching” (basically Therapy Lite w/o licensure)

tutoring (up through high-school level. if you want help with a college subject you gotta give me an extra couple days to read up.)

basically anything that isn’t manual labor (disabled) or visual art (Bad At Drawing) you want done for money, hmu and I might be able to do it lol
