I saw that there were queer women (and who they were, although I made a point of not seeing who hooked up with whom) in Dynasty, therefore decided to give it a watch.

Season 1 was wlw-less, although Steven and Sam were kinda cute, even if CW-messy. Really liked Cristal-Celia. By FAR the best Cristal.

First wlw to show up was Kirby (technically in the s1 finale but only really meet her in 2x01). Immediately a fave and not even because she's queer (which hasn't even been revealed yet).

And then I had to wait TWO SEASONS AND SIXTEEN EPISODES (sped through all of it) and Kirby dating FUCKING ADAM (only Kirby scenes I skipped) to see the other wlw main character. Sigh. But Amanda is an instant fave. Takes no shit, won't be manipulated, knows exactly what she wants, sees through Adam's snakery in an instant. Love her already.

I missed how increasingly ridiculous (only way they know to raise stakes) and just overall bad CW shows are. I've got a soft spot for bad TV.

Season 5 here we go! Expect reblogs ✌️

Catching up on Dynasty and I'm late but anyways, they had Kirby and Amanda, who's a lesbian, become friends and in the next episode they confirm Kirby is bi. Was it painfully obvious that they will become a couple soon? Yes. Do I still ship them super hard? Yes. A genius kind-hearted lesbian and innocent childish bi is a match made in heaven. Hopefully this relationship doesn't turn toxic like most of other relationships in Dynasty, they are awesome together.
