My Kirby Headcanon: Pregnancy

Sooo you're curious about that?

Well- can't blame ya- Let me explain.

So, when two Puffballs love each other very much.

Very much

Veryyy much.

They make love and - If no protection is used- get pregnant!

But now, how to you know if you're pregnant?

There are two ways.

1. Pregnancy test (early in the first week after trying)

2. Check your cheeks!

Why?

Because after some time, your "blush" will transform into hearts!

And if you don't have that- the hearts will appear on your cheeks anyway.

The clearer the hearts are- or the more the "blush" transforms into hearts - the further they are into their pregnancy. A pregnancy lasts about 6 months and 7 days.

A clear change of the body won't be visible- for some, a slight bump may appear during the last months.

But what happens during the pregnancy?

During the 1-2 months, most experience slight fever and the urge to throw up

During the 3-4 months, most experience the urge to eat lots of sweets and feel a lot sleepier.

During the last 5-6 months, not much changes, but sometimes you could feel the baby kicking!

And what about the birth?

Once it's finally time, just like humans, the water will break, and you'll go into a nearby hospital, it could take about 3-6 hours to get the baby out.

And once it's over and done...

Then congrats: you're now officially a parent!

Am I cringe? Yes. Have I decided to kill the part of me that cringes? Yeah. Did I create a character in order to simultaneously self-ship and place my trauma on? Heck yea babeyyy.

They are sweet, sleepy, anxious and feral! They love to draw,read, write, sing, and try new things! They are observant and inquisitive, possessing a child-like curiousity of the world and an insatiable thirst for knowledge on their fixations

They practically buzz with energy despite their shy and sweet disposition, but don't let that fool you. When it comes down to business, they have no qualms in baring their teeth (metaphorically and physically) to remind others why they are one to not be messed with.
