Do you hab seadwellers Tell of them eyes emoji
[I do hab seadwellers! I’ll give a basic rundown of them all, but you can read (most of) their full bios on my trollcall page!
This is Kirent! I need to get new sprites of him so he can be as lanky as he should be. He was kidnapped from his loving lusus at ~2 years old by deep sea doomsday cultists. He never really fit in or understood his place with them, but after learning about his past felt even more out of place. He snuk away to begin living on the surface, slowly trying to learn common alternian in place of his deep sea language and trying to unlearn the prejudices that the cultists who raised him ingrained into him.
This is Aeolid. He spent most of his life living under water, but found a quick love for books as soon as he moved to the surface at adulthood. He does his best to fulfill his “duties” as a violet (which include mostly aiding other violets, heirs/heiresses if asked, and keeping up with politics, but he also wishes for a life where less is expected of him. It’s for that reason that he spends much of his time as a hemoanon working odd custodial jobs. The work may be more strenuous, but he finds that he likes it.
Helfyr is a warrior from my colony world Ursus Mazatari. It is a world of mighty warriors, fae rules of conversation, and better hemoequality- assuming that you are physically strong and uphold the tennants of The Vengeful Creator. Helfyr became Artume’s moirail when they worked together on the same fleet battleship, but she was assumed dead after a great battle, and ultimately left to fend for herself after the ships departed. It wasn’t until the teraforming teams arrived nearly a whole sweep later that she was found and sent back to Alternia where she would find Artume had a new moirail.
Parson is an ancient violetblood from Ursus Mazatari. He is a high priest to The Vengeful Creator, and served as a teacher to many wrigglers on the colony world. Artume, the world’s “little prince” as he called him, was the closest thing he had to a child of his own. He felt is was important to impart as much of the world’s and the Lord’s insight on the young heir... and it didn’t hurt that he was a wonderfully energetic and adorable child.
He still sees Artume as that little 3 year old that liked to hide under the long tails of his robes, and he holds him to a much higher standard of performance than anyone else. Even in the HIM AU where Art becomes emperor he still does his best to seem nonplussed.
Artume Somnum is my one and only fuchsia! He is rather young for his caste, but he has had a relatively full life within the fleet and when considering his accomplishments. After meeting his current moirail Jaiana (by @ask-some-trolls-with-cool-hair) he started to realize that conquering worlds for the empire was not something he wanted to spend his life doing. Fighting with honor and especially dying with it is all that an Ursine warrior could hope for... but now he hopes for a simpler life with those he loves, and redemption for the death and destruction he has caused in the Empress’ name.
He has no desire to become emperor in any timeline, and in his current main universe he is taking an “extended leave of absence” from the fleet. What this means is that he has agreed to abstain from fleet duties in order to stay with his lowblood moirail until the natural end of her life while doing paperwork and short jaunts into space to check on established colonies when he has to. Whether or not hw wants to overthrow the empire to stop Alternia’s spread of terror throughout space is something he is still mulling over with the help of his friends, however.
BONUS:
Xhialo, my mutant blueblood fishy! He fell between the cracks (literally) within the caverns and found his way as a grubby into the sea. He was raised by a prawn who taught him survival and scavenging. His psionics (which allow him to “hear the memories” of objects around him when in silence) came in very handy when it came to treasure hunting and learning general information about the world above sealevel.
The first time he met another troll, it was a violetblood bou when he was around 5 or 6 sweeps old. He learned that he wasn’t normal from that boy, and he learned that “not normal” was synonymous with “should not exist” in the eyes of most trolls.]
