Kirk felt like such an idiot, knocking on his neighbor's door. He'd only met them once when he moved in, barely exchanging five words before smiling and going about his business. The sun was warm that morning, though the light was weaker considering the winter weather. Still, the sun through the windows hit Kirk's eyes and he groaned. "Fuck no, not yet. Another hour please." He begged, more out loud than to anyone in particular. He was exhausted and the headache sitting at his temples made him think he was a hungover too. Clearly they'd had a little too much fun thinking about today. "Let's just stay in bed."
