"Don't you remember?" (vvunderkid)

               The first thing he heard upon awaking was a voice with a strange accent attached, one he felt a familiarity with but didn’t know why, or even what kind of accent it was. It took him a few more minutes to gather enough strength to actually open his eyes and find who the voice belonged to, but even as he did that, his expression remained blank, confused. The boy looked no older than twenty-one, with dirty blonde curls, yet he still felt that familiarity, as if he had seen him before… But that wasn’t possible, surely he’d remember- that was when it struck him; where was he? “I… Uh- Remember what, kid?” He muttered as his eyes did a quick scan of the room they were in. The walls were a dull white, if he looked long enough they almost looked faded in colour, and there were ward numbers etched into a plaque. A Hospital… But why? In a quick yet swift motion, the brunette threw off the blanket he was seemingly wrapped in, making as if to get up, that was until his head started to spin and he became aware of the IV he was attached to. “What in the hell is goin’ on here?”
