She gave him a look of uncertainty, not answering immediately—considering. Couldn’t really hurt anything, could it? Besides, she was technically the one to suggest it… sort of. A smile tugged at her lips, and she answered him somewhat tentatively.

“Alright. Dinner it is, then.”

“Keptin! We haf to consider all our opti–” Pavel was cut off by the sound of the ground crumbling beneath him. He quickly located the direction it was coming from and grabbed the captain’s arm, sprinting away from the part that was falling.

         Kirk easily followed as their senses clicked simultaneously, grimacing, this time taking the lead and gripping a good hold on Chekov’s elbow. ❝ Crap- ❞ He darted them towards an area that had yet to fall from the quakes. Losing his communicator was one thing. His Navigator on the other hand-- ❝ Well, what options do we have? ❞ He looked to the younger male as they were at the very least, not in immediate danger.

 [ SENT TO // CHEKOV, P ]:  I’m not sure if you’re aware but in 1905, Albert Einstein determined that the law of physics was the same for all not accelerating objects. BUT if you think about it, that’s completely wrong, because then the trans-warp notion wouldn’t work - would it? Rhetorical don’t answer that. Anyway the laws of physics has to be different and applied differently to objects during warp and while using the transporter, because technically - they’re not accelerating ( well in the warp they are ), but if they had the same applied to them we wouldn’t be able to warp safely, would we? Don’t answer that. But anyway, none of this would be possible if the transporter and the warp drive weren’t maintained correctly.  SO, WHY - CHEKOV - Is your work station, and your navigational computer in bloody shambles? // @vvunderkid

“Do you know what your name is?” Pavel asked the man, his brow furrowed with worry. Normally, the Captain would be here after an incident this tragic, but everyone needed to sleep once in a while. Dr. McCoy had just happened to wake up while Pavel was on night duty. He would fetch the Captain in the morning, but for now he would follow the protocol that had been set before all of them.

                     “My name?” He should, shouldn’t he? Everyone had a name, so why couldn’t he remember his? The brunette felt a strange feeling, one that lead him to extend a hand to the other in - what he hoped to be - reassurance, although he didn’t know why he did it, all he knew was that the boy looked worried... About him? Why? That was the constant question going through his mind in that moment, next was panic... Because hell, he still didn’t know why he was there, what had happened - actually, he felt like he didn’t know anything. “Mind tellin’ me what’s goin’ on? Who are you?”

Leonard’s lips twitched as soon as the younger boy began to speak and he hurried to smooth a thumb over his lips to hide his amusement. “Well, uh... Pretty sure that’s a given.” He spoke, eyeing him a moment and waiting for Chekov to pull his shirt back on before he clapped a hand down gently onto his shoulder. “I’ll just give you a little insight; girls don’t usually like it when you’re hung up on your exes... Guys don’t really like it either.”

He wasn’t sure where he was. He remembered that he was called Montgomery but beyond that? Nothing. Just a dim awareness of the sky, of the galaxies and planets that ruled the skies.

Where was he? When was he? A shaky arm tried to push himself up off the ground but his strength was sapped. Montgomery ached and he wasn’t sure if it was this place or if something had happened to him before. He did remember falling, falling for so long and then nothing.

He had to come from somewhere. Inhaling a weak, wheezing breath, he tried to sit upright again, this time succeeding.

“Help...”
