I loved all the sounds of the Enterprise. Just hearing all her little beeps and humming and everything else as I sat there was such a comfort. All of her systems softly working in the background was like she was saying that everything was alright, you know?

Here's a kind of interesting fun fact! Very consistently, when I kin a character, they'll be the one from said media that I'm the most attached to, my "favorite" if you will. Sometimes kinfeels come first and make me attach to them as a character, sometimes it's vice versa and I don't get the feelings until I'm really interested in them first. I don't quite know how it works, but the point is! Like I said, this is consistent for all of my kins..... except for Star Trek.

Because, like, my favorite character is definitely Spock. He's probably the one I'm the most attached to and find the most interesting. And yet, I kin Kirk????? It's somewhat funny to me whenever I analyze it like that, but also, I suppose it does make.... Some amount of sense. As Kirk, I can't imagine Spock not being my favorite anything, so. Maybe it does make sense after all.

Seeing the new Unification short film sure has been strange. Like, I know that's not actually me and that's not my Spock but would it be so bad to just claim that we can be canon by proxy too. Or something. Seriously, though, that's really awesome for you guys! God knows you've waited long enough. /lh

Watching it, I just kept being reminded of how relieved Spock Prime - or I guess I should call him tos Spock? - was to see me when I ran into him on Delta Vega. Really, I think, it was obvious that him and his Kirk were in love all along. Which is genuinely.. it confused me at the time, but I'm glad they were able to have that.
