A trip to the amusement park was what he needed and it was something he actually wanted in terms of a 'break' or 'vacation' (though it can't be classified as a vacation since it's not long enough nor is it far away). Kasamatsu wasn't sure why he wanted to go, but he did. It all started with him sprawled out on the couch while he was icing his legs after a long practice, mindlessly watching TV. A commercial that advertised a nearby (it wasn't all that near; maybe a few train stations away) amusement park was what sparked his interest and sudden desire to go. The next thing he knew, Kasamatsu had purchased two tickets online and printed them on the spot.

It took him a while to ponder who to bring. The firsts to come to his mind were those on the basketball team; the remaining 4 starters. He thought about taking Moriyama, but he would have spent the whole day searching for girls--so that was a reject. Kobori was his next option, but another reject as well since he didn't seem like the amusement park type. Or maybe he was and Kasamatsu just didn't know. Either way, it'd end with Kasamatsu constantly asking what ride he wanted to go on next and he'd only get 'you can choose' as a response and that really made him paranoid. Hayakawa was an obvious n.o. They would've been banned from the amusement park like they were from the zoo. That left him with only one option: Kise. It wasn't a bad idea. There weren't any flaws in choosing his ace. In fact, he needed the break just as much as Kasamatsu did and hey, maybe he'd be happy that he chose him instead of the rest.

It was still the middle of the school week when Kasamatsu decided he wanted to go. That gave him some time to think over plans and ask for accompaniment. Being the last to leave the gym after practice and Kise always waiting, he figured he might as well ask while it was just the two of them so the rest couldn't throw a fit and demand to bring the rest of them. As soon as he was done changing from his practice attire to his school uniform, Kasamatsu pulled two tickets from his bag and turned around, facing Kise who sat patiently on the bench.
