There was something she didn’t like about the sounds coming from the equipment room. Last she’d checked, it’d been Akashi who’d asked where the keys for the room had been, so she figured he would’ve been mature enough to handle everything…

And while she didn’t want to say he wasn’t mature enough, she definitely couldn’t say he’d be careful enough. “Like hell that’s a cut, Akashi-kun.” The manager took a glance back into the main gym, quick to conclude that nobody else had noticed. “You stay here, and I’ll go get the first aid kit.”

“Uh-”

Akashi wasn’t sure what to say about the notion of him staying in the equipment room with blood dripping from his hand. All he knew was that it wasn’t the top idea on his list.

He pressed his thumb hard over the wound, attempting to decrease the blood flow out of the cut, with a wince. The potential infection would have to come second to potential mess that could be made if he let it continue to run. 

With that, he followed Momoi a beat after her. He followed her silently into the nurse’s office and only spoke once the door closed. 

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you angry.” He said, watching Momoi scramble for the kit.

“Is there a problem Satsuki?”

“I just have so much cleaning to do and no will to do it! You wouldn’t happen to have a wand to whisk the mess away, would you?”
