hii hope u dont mind some story discussion i just want to say ive been loving kismet so much 😭 percy and lucian are sooo cute and the newest updates are so weirdly intriguing to me. like i love how it was a very typical kdrama moment but there was no tension at all and now i cannot wait to see how they go from not gaf about an almost kiss to wanting to make out fr... im sat like never before

for this in particular, i was hoping that the lack of tension helped show just how close the two had become as friends over the course of time. theres also no romantic feelings at play here, so for this scene in particular, it felt more like organic(?) for me to make them bicker like they would, especially because lucian has been a bit of a bastard in this sense since day one 😭

Waiiiit. Girl. I was rereading Serendipity and I noticed this! When we first get introduced to Cherry, Jasmine tells him he's acting weird. Were you planting seeds? Wow! I don't remember reading this originally, but maybe I didn't pay attention to it.

i was definitely planting seeds! good catch. it makes me so happy that you caught that.

it wasn't in the first draft of serendipity but it was there after i took it down to rewrite it earlier this year.

i needed something to tie the series together. so there are breadcrumbs throughout both books. the most obvious one is in kismet though. it's repeated several times by jasmine (in serendipity as well) and once by anthony. it’s right in your face, but i doubt anyone caught why it was repeated so much 😭

yeah that was how it was always going to end, it really was the other way. it was the only one that felt right.
