I was sitting in a photo shop on Shortmarket street when I noticed a DSLR and lens sitting on the counter, unguarded. I thought about how easy it would be for someone to walk in and steal them. Five or ten minutes later the owner of the camera walks in and starts viewing his photos on the monitor. "Weren't you worried about your camera getting stolen?" I asked. "No, not at all. The other day I left it on a table outside a restaurant." he says "Why?" "That's just my attitude towards material things."
