also i just wanna say i'm an egyptian who straight up can't stand how pharah is treated by this fandom but ur art gives me life because you're literally one of the only people i've seen actively try to research egyptian culture and put it in your art? i swear i appreciate it so much and i show all my friends your art of the amaris i love u

i’m so glad to hear that! it’s really sad to finally get rep of a highly underrepresented group with someone like fareeha and have fans cut corners and just go the gay route in fan content to claim they love her.

like for one, she can have an lgbt identity and also be ethnic (like me, a proud filipino lesbian)…which no one seems to get. there is honestly so much potential with the amaris that everyone squanders. everyone gets caught up in other things they forget this family not only have an amazing story, but this rich culture! (admittedly, at first i was one of those people who got caught up and didn’t think much of her culture, but i realized the injustice in that). 

i have so many ideas for more fareeha (and ana!) content so keep an eye out for that! have a great day 😇😇😇😇
