Akame ga Kill
vou criar uma conta no MAL agora que voltei a ler mangás e seguir minha lista de animes , mas não sei se algum "otaku" ainda usa isso ou se mudaram de site....
"You weren't ostracized because you liked anime, you were because you did the naruto run across the school halls" Okay but when the other kids used broomsticks as lightsabers it was just fun. When they imitated their favorite athlete's celebration move no one say shit. When they pretended to be superman or wolverine or spiderman it was seen as cool. So why anime fans got mocked so hard for enjoying and talking about their favorite shows ? It wasn't because we wre cringe. Everyone is cringe at 12yo.
Nowdays, even if animes are mainstream, if I go to work in cosplay, people will see me as weird and unprofessionnal. If I tell my colleagues I have anime figures and posters all across my bedroom, they'll find me weird and cringe. But several of them often wear football (soccer) jersey to work, and no one say a thing. They spend hundreds of euros to see the matches, bet on their team, and buy the merch. But again, they will not be made fun for that, while I would.
It is not because some of us are cringe with out hobbies. It is because too many of you see Animes like something childlish and stupid.
