nicknames: Kit is actually my nickname. My real name is Katherine and I hate how feminine it is, so I found a much more gender-neutral option and I don’t hate my name anymore. It evolved from some friends in high school not wanting to call me Katherine, so they asked who my favorite X-Men character was and I said Kitty Pryde. So they started calling me Kitty, and eventually I dropped the “ty” part as I got older!

dream job: I would LOVE to work in film. My biggest dream job would be to design posters for movies (specifically horror), but I’d do anything on a set. General crew, camera operator. Hell, I’d get people their coffee if it meant I could be there. But while I DO get to do that on the side for some filmmaking friends now and then, I tried to go to film school to do it professionally and flunked out because of some extenuating circumstances, so I don’t think that’s in my future.
dream trip: Japan. Almost got to go this year but money issues got in the way. Maybe next year. London, Seattle, and LA are also on my list.
instruments: I play bass guitar and ukulele. Four strings are enough for me.
languages: Just English unfortunately. I took some Spanish in high school but like most, only bits and pieces have stuck.
