7. do you have any odd beliefs?
“Sort of tame, but once, the three of us got lost in the dark on our way back from a court-ordered family vacation. My dad didn’t, well, understand where the hell to go, so my mom had him pull over. She ordered everyone to turn their clothes inside-out and wear it. Some superstition she’d learned back in the Philippines, I guess, but after three hours of being lost I’d literally do anything to get back.”
“Funny enough, it worked, and my mom looked smug as all hell. I took her advice, so every time I get lost, I turn my clothes inside out until I get where I need to be. Feels silly, but it works. I change whenever I’m near, though. I’m not a complete madman.”
