Inquisition logo?!
Emperor's bones, I think I just accidentally figured out how to kidtbash an Inquisition logo on Hero Forge. So I kitbashed a pair of Sci Agent's Pauldrons overlapping at 180 degrees and then added a Skull Ring in the middle.

Been working on some matchbox/hotwheels car kitbashes for gaslands. I get to scratch that Mad Max itch and try out some different painting methods that Ive been looking for and excuse to try.
After priming them matte black I base coated first with a dark metallic (MSP blackened steel) then with their viable colours using a sponge before touching up and detailing with brushes and dry brushing. This helped give them a worn, dirty, and weathered look. Perfect for racing in the post apocalyptic wasteland. It also worked like a dream for layering browns and khakis for the humvees desert camo, definitely a method I'm going to use in the future.
Haven't played a game yet but it looks pretty neat. Also it's significantly cheaper than warhammer which is always a plus.

Top three favorite kitbashes
So far I think these are my three favorite kitbashes I worked out on my own through experimenting on Hero Forge.
I like that I figured out how to make A280 blaster rifles for my Star Wars designs. My Rebel Alliance minis make up the largest percentage of my Star Was minis, so it's been cool to get to make them look more authentic.

Also quite pleased with the kitbashed Drider body I came up with. Particularly since it allows me to murder adventurers with them. My older design, while larger and more impressive, required a second mini to build the spider around. The kitbashed design is smaller, but more versatile.

And lastly, even though they're super simple to make, I was also excited when I figured out how to make pilums for my Roman soldiers. Like, they're literally a javelin and a lance stuck together and resized and painted, but I think they look great. And now all of my legionaries get to pack them.

Carnyx!
Check this shit out! I just kitbashed a carnyx, a very loud and reverberating Ancient Gallic-style trumpet, in Hero Forge!
Between it and the helmet, it took all twenty kitbashes, but I think I made it look pretty okay!
There is a difference between just primed and bare plastic. The primer pulls the models together, unifies their color which humans read as unified in intent or purpose. The #kitbashes I could barely look at, for me, melt together and become cohesive at this step. Now, TO PAINT! #ampainting @warhammerofficial #intercessors #adeptusastartes #spacemarines #spacewolves #warhammer #warhammer40k #wh40k #40k https://www.instagram.com/p/Ciy3TfIOiY8/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
