Mom sent me this picture today after our new oven got installed. I stayed at the office late because I did a virtual reading with the Raccoon River Reading Series, which went well. I read "To the Conflicted Love-Child of Lands' End and Sears" and I was delighted to see my friend Josh Shelton in attendance from Fargo, North Dakota. One of the few benefits of having a virtual reading instead of a live one is that far-away friends no longer seem so far.

We made a home made freshly grind meat burger patties last night and it was THE BEST homemade burger ever....so fragrant while cooking, so juicy and the meat was soooo good. We added jalapeño cheese on the first batch and added onion and mushrooms on the 2nd batch and so impressive.
