Winter's Coming...

While you may be enjoying summer, the die hard skiers amongst us are experiencing a drought. And dreaming big dreams. Ken Lucas, one of the biggest die hards we know, is fired up for the frost.

He just dropped us this email, and some pics to get the stoke going for the winter to come...

It all started last October with a great early season Powder Magazine article on our Kenai Peninsula adventure.  Followed up with backcountry ski and kite adventures to the remote Big Horn Mts. of Wyoming; a Utah trip to sniff out some snow; and Powder Magazine Week in Jackson Hole to ride steeps in the spot light.  How could it get any better?  How about an epic deep powder cultural extravaganza in Japan and another late March Alaska adventure.  Finishing up with a spring solo mission on the big WyEast face of Mt. Hood and a season finale party at Illumination Rock in June.

Yes, last season was great and this coming season is looking to be even bigger.  The plans are a Chile / South America trans-continental adventure in early autumn and Iran in February.  With plenty of smaller excursions to seek out the best un-tracked snow to stoke the social media fires.  More to come as the plans evolve...
