𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐋𝐄. thankfully it’s not that hard to track kite down. amadeo is wearing a fur coat made from pelts of two dire wolves. it’s long and calls attention to him. he’s holding another one in his hands. 

"kite, allow me the honor of being able to match with you.” he extends his arm out to hand the coat over. this one is shorter than his own, but it’s because it has an extravagant hood. it’s large and even has the shape of two wolf ears on top. the sleeves are also a bit longer as they’re fashioned with the claws of a dire wolf. “this shall be a good addition to your closet!”

“Trust me, have a couple drinks, and I promise you’ll have the best time. It’s part of the Vermont experience,” Jordan said. The two were in a seedy bar in his hometown of Burlington, Vermont, and he quite prided himself in the fact he’d managed to drag Kite out of the comforts of camp at all. Especially after slaying a dragon (and nearly losing their lives in the process), they needed a healthy dose of normalcy. So the two sat at the bar, no stool in between because they were totally gay, and Jordan ordered himself an old-fashioned, and a bourbon peach smash for Kite. The bar was quiet, playing some old jazz in the background. “See that over there?” he held the rim of his glass, and pointed out the storefront to the antique store called ‘The Brick Basement’ on the other side of the street. “That’s our next stop.” He was positive letting Kite loose in there would be like releasing a kid in a candy store.

He’s heard wolves were troubling the chef, the jaguar?, and demigods were dispatched to deal with them. One of the names stood out from the rest: Kite. Viorel eyed the man in question as he passed the lake with Sorin by his side. Once again, the temptation to sick him on Kite was far too deep to dare ignore. But, he abstained. 

For now.

Viorel eased his way over and nodded to him. “I heard about the wolves. What did you do with them?” Did he fight, or did he stand there, frozen? Was he a Malachi or Mako?

“So my first question is: why the are the nymphs so scared of you?” he said instantly as he sank down in the spot beside Kite. He hadn’t spoken a word to the guy, but he’d certainly heard stories. Some were about how delusional he was, some were about how sadistic and dangerous he was, and some were more questions than statements. So clearly, Asher being Asher, was more inclined to just march up to the source of the drama and roll around in it. “Rumor has it your some demonic prince from hell. Crazy, right?”

“Boo!” Draped in a white sheet, Hudson jumps out from the shadows as Kite passes by. He’s quick to dance around the man just  in case he lashes out on instinct, but unused to the new length of his legs, Hudson goes tumbling to the ground.  He was much taller now, nearly a foot an a half taller than he was just two weeks ago. “Oof!” The boy groans, as he rolls over and adjusts the sheet, peering up at Kite from two jaggedly cut holes. “Did I get you?”

𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐎'𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐇𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃. in reality it has nothing to do with what happened in house aspida, but still. he’s drinking one of those famous peach cans that kite seems to rave and then spots his fellow friend. 

“was the house no longer safe for you to roam freely?“ he chuckles softly. they were only joking earlier about zikki and loki, but he wonders if the ritual sparked a flame. “glad you’re safe and about. that no eyes swallowed you whole.“

"𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐀 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊?" amadeo takes a seat across from kite, a warm smile spreading across his face. he’s been up for almost the entire night and day, but he can’t bring himself to sleep. he’s too focused on research. “i was thinking we can do something relaxing. little to no brain activity required.” before he ends up wanting to make his own contract with kite’s employer.

When Jordan spotted that familiar head of pink fuzz, he didn’t hesitate to make a beeline straight for Kite. Who knew what his friend was doing out so late, sitting across a log, but he wasn’t about to leave him unaccompanied in the dead of night. Sneaking up behind him, Jordan then made his presence known by swiftly planting a kiss to Kite’s cheek, a playful (and platonic) way of catching the self-decreed Lord of Pandemonium off-guard. “Hey,” he said, casually taking a seat next to him. “You up for a drive?”
