Suzie-Guru: ALL THE DETAILS!
Sooo, to oblige the ever lovely Miss kitfoxhawaii, I'm answering her little questionnaire!
Preferred pronoun: Her/She/Goddess Most High
Where you at in dis world?: Geographically, I'm in Michigan, the mythical land of snow and road construction and lighthouses and snow. Life wise, I feel like I'm at a good place and on a decent track.
What you like to munch on: Pomegranate seeds, raspberries, spoonfuls of Nutella, Sour Cream and Onion chips, sushi, anything salty and/or chocolaty.
What irks you: When people use my things without checking with me, insensitivity, street harassment/casual sexism/misogyny, when people dismiss me when I get insecure or scared about things (the future, how I look, when I get cat called/harassed and I'm told to get over it…), bullying, having to justify why I like/love certain things, when people watch videos and listen to music on their computers without headphones on, when I just cannot get to sleep at all, that sound Styrofoam makes when it rubs against each other...
What you really really like: Hot showers, thunderstorms, getting to sleep in, acting/musicals/theater, Zumba, reading really really good fan fiction and books, all kinds of music, brainstorming about my own writing and art, Once Upon A Time, watching nostalgic movies, my puppy-dog Shelby, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, drawing on any scrape of paper available, watching videos about soldiers surprising loved ones and reuniting with their dogs, fairytales in interconnected universes/alternate universes, swimming in Lake Michigan, Calvin and Hobbes, mythology, multifaceted characters, stories when monster gents fall hard for the good girl, going out to movies by myself, the Golden Age of Hollywood, selkies and mermaids, being able to pour out my soul to other people and not be judged at all.
How do you like your coffee, if at all? With two packets of Splenda and a nice big pour of Fat Free Hazelnut Creamer, in a nice big mug.
How do you like your romantic partners, if at all? Non-Fictional, for starters! I like people who can alternate between goofy and carefree and fun to serious and thoughtful and deep-thinking, all while being warm and kind and compassionate. Still waters run deep, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun and splash around. Physically, anything that floats my boat, though I do very much have a thing for melty brown eyes, thick dark hair, and a smile that could make your soul shiver. I suppose beautiful eyes are the first feature I look at…and I honestly find most, if not all, eyes beautiful.
What’s your current job?: I'm an assistant teacher at a daycare, which is actually part of my old elementary school! I watch over the kids, plan snacks, play with them, draw them pictures for them to color in, soothe fights, clean, and generally have a great time with them =)
What do you reeeeeaaaaallly wanna do? Write multiple book series, act in plays/musicals/movies/what have you, work with kids, write and illustrate children's books, travel around the world some more.
How are you today? Really? I feel like I'm pretty good right now! I'm struggling with daylight savings and it getting so dark so early when I'm still at work, and the kids are getting a bit squirrelly at the end of the day, but I was able to get home in time to vote, go out to the gym, and pick up my dinner. Now I'm going to go have a nice to shower, eat some good grub, and curl into bed!
What’s the dream? That I'm a published and popular author of both my multiple series and children's books. That I'm a known and well regarded actress. That I'm at a healthy weight. That I finally found love with someone, and I have stayed close with my family and have one of my own. That I've traveled beyond Michigan and found my way back to the UK. That Tom Hiddleston and Sebastian Stan both confess to having a crush on me, and Robert Downey Jr. mentions that he thinks I'm a stellar human being. That I've been asked to play She-Hulk and to originate the role of Winifred Sanderson in the Broadway Production of Hocus Pocus. That I've been a guest on Seseme Street and Inside The Actor's Studio. That practicing my Oscar's Speech has finally paid off. That I know the ending to A Song of Ice and Fire.
Mostly that I'm happy and feeling like I've accomplished my goals and hopes.
