7) who steals the duvet in their sleep? 

Justine - Thomas doesn’t really need it. Plus Thomas likes to wake her up when she oversleeps by picking up the big cigar of duvet and blanket she manages to roll herself into and depositing it on the sofa.

8) who keeps the other awake at night with their snoring?

Thomas - although it’s less that they’re particularly loud, and more that Justine likes listening to them. They’re a moment of very human vulnerability, and Justine treasures that reminder.

Favorite Male Character: Shoryu

Favorite Female Character: Youko

Least Favorite Character: Hmm, Riyo probably

Favorite Ship: I find the idea of Youko/Shoryu interesting, after a bit more time has passed.

Favorite Friendship: Youko and Rakushun, but Enki and Shoryu are also great.

Favorite Quote: There are lots of good ones in the anime, but I’ve not found a list online to consult as yet. So we’ll just say the dialogue during the happy moment described below.  

Worst Character Death (if any): Seishuu

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: When Youko reveals herself as Queen of Kei before Jinrai and the army - and the rebels too.  Everyone’s reactions are priceless.

Saddest Moment: A big one that comes to mind is when Shoryu’s clan comes to help him…and everyone gets cut down.

Favorite Location: A lot of places are pretty.  I remember Shoryu’s palace being  awesome because I have a thing for absurd staircases (though I wouldn’t want to live below that huuuuuge mountain!)

I have a current project but it’s in line to be my next project because I love it so much!!I’ve read the first two books, I haven’t had a chance to get the second two yet. I enjoy them but because they’re very similar to the anime sans the stunning visuals/music I like the anime more.

my thoughts: actually to be honest i think the one flaw in Turin’s story IS that he doesn’t get quite enough happiness…..for increasing the contrast w the misery, you know.

What makes me happy about them: despite how horribly his actual life and his family’s ended….as a story and legend…from FotR:

What makes me sad about them: They spend so little time together

things done in fanfic that annoys me: I actually haven’t read enough bad CoH fanfic to know, I only read the tried and true good stuff (eg @swampdiamonds)

things I look for in fanfic: I actually would be interested in fics where Turin thinks about un-tainted happy memories or entertains hopes of future happiness.

2. have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?

There are plenty of writers who have shaped the way I think - Terry Pratchett, JK Rowling, and Eoin Colfer mostly - but I’m not sure if I can name one who thinks just like me. Actually, it’s probably John Finnemore, specifically his writing on Cabin Pressure - that show was exactly my kind of humour, and it’s depressing how much I relate to Arthur Shappey xD. 

10. do you have a creed?

I’m not religious at all, although almost everything I do is guided by the belief that it doesn’t matter what other people think of me as long as I’m having fun.

28. on a scale from 1 to 10, how hard is it for someone to get under your skin?

Uh... 7 or 8, maybe? I think it’s one of those things where I like to think I’m above it all, but I’m really not. It also depends a lot on my mood.
