Tateya Obi Musubi Tutorial.

Instructions here (in Japanese only). This musubi is a simple but formal knot used for furisode, and requires a fukuro obi to tie. It’s name translates to “standing arrow”.

I’ve finally taken the plunge and made some kitsuke tutorials! Primarily, I’ve made them for the Russian kimono community, who barely has any good information about kimono. Eventually, I will add English captions to the video.
