The entrancing, magical fire known as kitsune-bi was the result of the fox-spirits rubbing their tails between their fore paws until it caught fire and generated the magic that allowed them to shift form. (At least that’s what I remember reading in one collection of folktales)

Yesterday (Yokai, Kitsune) and today (nocturnal, Nocturnal)! I decided since I couldn't think of anything "nocturnal" I wanted to draw, that I would draw the Daedric Prince Nocturnal from the Elder Scrolls. Love her. And I love kitsune. Happy Spooktober!

I designed Reah’s shadow form, and since Fazal is from the Emerald region, Reah wears a sari in this form. uvu

When it comes to the shadow kii itself, the bangles come off of her wrists and form a circle around her, and the shadows ooze from those to attack
