what are lab exams like, actually? my school class never had them, i think
oughh ... yay yay question ! ya 🦊 but some general lab stuff first because i like talking
we have laboratory on two days. Three hours on monday, and four hours on Thursday.
The monday laboratories have chemistry, biology, and hydrology classes.
The thursday laboratories have two mechanical classes, and one land survey class (these were translated, might not be the correct terms)
chemistry lab is .. just what you expect from a chem lab. We mostly mix up water and NaCL, but we also use CuSO4 a lot too. we do not dissect frogs in biology !! we dissect plants and use a microscope, and draw what we see. at hydrology, we dont really do much, but the lab part is pretyy hard.. its all water related. Like how much water sinks into the ground.
mech lab! we look at pumps and suspensions and we do lots of math. its kinda fun, and the "work" part of it is pretty short. The land survey one is the worst in my opinion, cuz i dont really like our teacher. We either use a program called QGIS to make maps, or we go outside to mesure land area.
The exam part! The lab exam thing is just a lab session at the end of this year specifically that i translated very badly. We have to pull an exam topic, and .. we have to do the lab work and do some math! For example, one topic is finding little microorganisms in the water. We have to draw them, you cant really use math with microorganisms..
And .. thats basically it! Its just a two hour long lab class that you have to do completely alone, with no help. And if you dont pass, you will have to redo it in august. If you dont pass that, you cant go to vocational schools anymore! ..
