All right it’s been a while, #kittensofgotham update. Despite best efforts, the kittens just aren’t socialized, I found them just a little too old/I didn’t have the ability to force interactions given my own circumstances. Penguin is the only one that enjoys pets, even tummy pats. She might be social or she might just like me in particular? After some research and discussion it seems like #TNR is the best plan. I’m on the list to get traps from @plannedpethood and will take them in batches to get fixed, shots, and ear clipped. In the meantime, I’m slowly working to improve their feeding/water station, and make the carrier a better summer shelter and create another one out of some upcycled material. THEYVE GOTTEN SO BIG. Heleena is a exemplary mama cat. I’m thankful too that she’s a love bug enough that another neighbor already had her TNRed. Maybe she and Penguin can be pets one day but Ivy, Harley, Selena, and Cassie(Cassandra) are all still tightly knit with them, and absolutely do not seem like they’ll be pets.
