Yes my child I encourage you to murder - Crazy Grandpa
“ h he’s too strong to kill!! nnone of my plants w work... ”
Galapagos huffed and crossed her arms. Her tail swished from side to side sporadically and her cheeks puffed up angerly. Hoarfrost flowers were always able to be the most poisonous!! Their spores were horrible for people’s health! Lethal!! But they didn’t work on that stupid-
Loki had barely woken up from their nap, actually it was likely that the Charlotte picking them up woke them up- They looked rather disoriented, half awake and blinking. Given months prior, perhaps they wouldn’t like to be held, but now they seemed to just slink into her hold comfortably...
“ a- ah- smoothie...? ”
"King! Your stupid brat released some of my prisoners!! AGAIN! Can't you do anything to control your kid?! Nah, shouldn't have expected more from an incompetent parent like you. You couldn't even raise a chicken if you tried!" - Your beloved brother.
“ Again? As if you could teach him any better. ”
King rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. He needed to find a sure way to punish that boy...But really, nothing worked, and he really didn’t want to try what he had done before. He couldn’t. Instead, he moved off of the topic of his supposed inability to raise his children--even though the other two were behaved, Pup was otherwise behaved as well, if not for his little habit--to Queen’s incompetance.
“ I still don’t understand how he keeps being allowed to not only find the keys to break them out, but get away with it till after you realize it’s too late. He’s a child, Queen, why can’t your supposed great security handle a single child? ”
❛ could you be happy here with me ? ❜ - SMOOKI you knOW its smooki babyyyyyy AUGH
Loki had a certain glaze over their eye.
Their gaze distant as they heard the words spoken from the woman they’d somehow managed to grow so close to. Perhaps they were reminiscing on a time before the life they lived now, in a literal sense... They didn’t enjoy getting close to people, it always ended in disaster, it always ended with them alone once again. Oh, but that was being selfish, wasn’t it? Just because they would outlive all the partners they gained, didn’t mean that their partners cared...If they died, would they know? Surely the fact that they didn’t age was clear, and it never seemed to matter. The Alabastan didn’t know why. They were so confused as to why...Was that emotion so powerful as to deny the reality? They weren’t sure, not anymore. So many events had occurred in their past to point that it wasn’t worth it. Then again they had lived three times a normal lifespan, almost four. Were they simply biased? What did years do to a man that used to be so excited about life, so sure about what they were going to do? Then again, all of it was ruined not even a year passed their initial first 18 years. Cast out for some curse they couldn’t control, torn away from the person they were supposed to love because of the same damned condition. Left to wander or die, but their fruit would never let them die. That snake just kept trying to keep them moving, to keep them from falling. No matter how many times the sand was their destination, no matter how long the river of time flowed, how could they never reach the end? Even after they reached the end, how their body was flung back into the river to keep moving again. They didn’t understand.
One of their hands moved to cover the bridge of their nose, then shift to cover their eyes, or eye, and the scar that spread over the one lost to time. A low breath was taken, only to stagger and their grip to tighten around their face. Could they be happy. They didn’t know if they could be happy, emotions were so fickle they were so hard to attain. The difficulty only rising with time as they felt their body remain stagnant and their emotions drip out from the cracked glass of their mind. That’s all they were, weren’t they? A cracked glass, an antique that has yet to find itself in some collector’s menagerie. Wandering for ages just to lay upon the sand and be buried. Why haven’t they been buried yet? No they had, then life decided to dig them up, and now where were they? They were wandering again and now they’ve found them-self in a place so new, and with someone who they cared so dearly for despite all they knew that would happen. It was never as if they would want anyone to live the life they had either, why would they want anyone to live for centuries? Why was it a goal some had? To live forever, to rule the world. Why doesn’t anyone realize how much that breaks someone? Were they simply too weak as to be impacted by it all? Perhaps it was because of their family, how expansive it was, and how it fell, and how they watched them crumble to dust. Now what remained on them? Nefertaris now, previously a mix of all names together united by a common blood of royalty below the crown of Alabasta.
With their free hand, they gripped the silk of their garb and took another staggered breath. How could they be happy? They’re going to watch this woman die, they’re going to be alone again. This is why they shouldn’t grow attached, they should remain a spectator. But look at them, look how long that lasted. Why were people so apt to connect, why were they so sure that what they were doing was correct. Wouldn’t someone be happier with a person who wasn’t trapped in a mindset to be separate, to be disconnected. Loki opened their mouth to speak, anything, something...Only to close their lips and shake their head, they didn’t know what to say, and behind their hand they still blinded them-self to whatever was before them. They did not wish to see, not at the moment. Would it be easier to just be completely blind. No, they couldn’t...
Swallowing air, Loki’s head moved from side to side once again, their voice as quiet as moving mice while they tilted their head to look downward, even if still their hand covered their eye.
“ I do not know...I hope, but I am blind to it. I wish that happiness would blind me to the future but here I am required to blind myself however temporarily. I want to be happy. ”
Their voice quiet and steady, holding back the staggered breaths that would spill out of them when they finished their response. They hated being so broken.
