Fun Fact for Alyss

Alyss is called an "Angel" in numerous places around the world, even more so in the village of Calm in the kingdom of Vale. During the time team JKDW, Aulin, and Alex were in Calm in the break between their first and second years in Beacon. There, they saw a dragon Faunus woman they met just before their first mission earlier in the year (which was a joint mission for teams JKDW and SLVR) named Maria Cross. During that time, Alyss had healed Maria's daughter's broken arm, who's name was Zarya.

And standing behind Maria the second time around was her son and Zarya's little brother, Saint. He was born with only one arm. So, like Alyss immediately offered to help Zarya, she did the same with Saint. For three days, Alyss spent all of her time with Saint and worked to grow him an arm with her semblance and since he was a small child, she was able to fully grow his arm back. She stayed asleep for a full few days and when she woke up, she was very extremely tired. Then she and everyone went fishing.

When they were nearly ready to leave Calm for Vale, a crowd grew around them all. The village headman approached Alyss and gifted her a ring for her kindness to Saint and Zarya. The ring is silver and wide-banded and it splits and swirls to where it holds a beautiful amethyst that matches her earring. Engraved in the silver is designs of leaves.

And as a gift from Zarya, Alyss has a charm bracelet handmade with purple string and numerous small, white blocks that spell out "Kitty Angel" in purple lettering. Alyss wears both the ring and the bracelet on her right hand and wrist every single day, especially the bracelet considering she promised Zarya that she would.

So, Alyss was called an Angel by the villagers in Calm. Over the years, more and more people around the world had grown to know of Alyss with each village and city she and her team passed through on missions. People everywhere know of the kind hearted cat Faunus, even those who were racist against Faunus.

She was not only called an Angel, but she was known as the Angel of Mercy for her kindness, compassion, and her will to heal anyone's wounds she comes across.

He could definitely tell something was off here. He wasn’t sure exactly what. Angel didn’t tend to have her hood up, was she trying to hide something? Had she gotten hurt, perhaps?

“you, uh, alright?”

So much for not tipping him off.

She did not like that look on his face. He knew something was up, of course, he did. Feeling her tail twitch with her annoyance she forced a smile. Just play it cool. There was no way this was going to last long, she could do this. “Meow.”

Mortified she slapped a hand over her mouth, the hand that was holding her hood down to be exact. Her own surprise causing her ears to move, noticeably shifting the fabric. A vibrant blush coloured her cheeks. Why did she make that sound?! She had just wanted to dismiss his worries, damn it! “Everything’s fine,” she still tried to claim, her voice muffled by the hand that was still covering her mouth, “Just perrrrrfect.” Oh, for fucksake.
