he cancelled our AAA in a fit of anger after the driver didnt pick him up on a really busy day or some shit. 

that wouldn’t be a problem, AAA is just for like, if you get your keys locked in your car, they come and help you out, or help with a flat, that sort of thing. 

Not a big deal, right? 

Except our renter’s insurance is connected to our AAA. 

WE HAVE NO FUCKING HOUSE INSURANCE AND A HURRICANE IS GOING TO HIT THIS ISLAND IN THE NEXT 36 HOURS.

// I am so old for being 28. Been dealing with awful back pain for about a week due to a back spasm. Mostly spent the week laying down with a heating pad and hoping it’ll work itself out without too much trouble. To make matters worse, my husband had a back spasm yesterday that was so bad I had to take him to the ER so I’ll probably be babysitting him the next few days. -sigh- I was also hoping to do inktober this year but that doesn’t look very likely. Or if I do, it’ll be late as heck.

I am a mess. Still, despite all this, I have gotten my drafts MOSTLY under control, and have some idea of how to reply to most of them. I’ll try to get more of them queue’d today while I can sit up. 

Just wanted to give y’all a general update of where I am with things. Oh, and if you message me and I don’t reply to you, I probably read your message, thought “I’ll reply to them in a minute” and then forgot. Sorry. I get distracted easily and have a lot on my plate at the moment.

long ramble/update/thing

// honestly all this bs anon hate has me conflicted. like, I dont owe ANYONE an explanation for anything, and at the same time, I am concerned that the things being said may be spread to others, and they are the sort of thing that would be easy to convince others of. Combine that with my massive anxiety and current run of depression, health issues, and panic disorder acting up, and youve got me sitting in front of my PC chewing my nails off and trying to decide the best course of action. 

I have been accused of stealing characters. From whom? Television shows, not other RP-ers. While that sounds ridiculous at first, the manner of the accusations are what concerns me, as on the surface it is, as I said, the type of accusation that would be easy to convince someone of. 

For now, I will say this: Every single one of my OCs are just that, MY Original Characters. I have never, would never, and will never, steal another person’s character, canon or otherwise, and claim them as my own. The characters I am being accused of stealing are ALL characters that were collaborated on with other people as they were developed, and I DO have people who will vouch for me on that if necessary. I put love, care, and time into every character I create, and it is sickening to me that someone would accuse me of blatantly copying existing characters for my own credit and use. 

If ANYONE has questions about the origins of ANY of my muses, please, PLEASE feel free to ask so I can gush about them and the ideas I had as I created them, and what inspired me to make them, and everything. I LOVE talking about my original characters, and I believe it is the lack of discussing them that has led to these misconceptions. I think I will make a poitn in the future to post more drabbles/headcanons/ficlets of my OCs to publicly flesh them out and help avoid these issues. 

I will NOT be responding directly to the anonymous (or non-anon) asks regarding these accusations, but will be screencapping them for my records. 

The anon feature has been, for the forseeable future, turned OFF on my blog. I apologize for anyone that this inconveniences. If you are ever out of asks and would like me to respond to a meme, you are 100% welcome to send it to me via IM and I will draft a response for when I am able to answer it. 

For the time being, this is the last I plan to say regarding this issue. I want to put the negativity behind me and have my blog focus on positive interactions between myself and other muns, not this drama.

I have received a barrage of hateful anonymous messages the past few days, and it’s continued into today. This is why we can’t have nice things.

// I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Like, diagnosed at the age of 6 and re-diagnosed seven times OCD. When I won’t do something and it makes me seem a bit snooty or nitpicky as an rp-er, 9/10 times it is NOT for the reasons you think, but rather because of my brain obsessing over some arbitrary rule or tic until I have to, hard stop, NOT do whatever the thing may be for my own peace of mind. 

So when I say I don’t want to interact with an OC that is meant to be the child of a canon muse I write, it’s NOT because I am uncomfortable with your muse. It is NOT that I dislike your character, it is NOT that I think they are a mary sue or gary stu or whatever other bs people say about OCs. It is because, MOST OF THE TIME, the character’s existence and circumstances of their existence do not fit how I view the canon muse. And because of my OCD, I find it next to impossible to look past this to write with the character. 

Of all the OCs I have attempted to write with that fit this category (and there have been many), there is only ONE (1) exception to this, only ONE OC that I have written with, and continue to write with, that is the child of a canon muse I write. (looking at you, @thenamesallison ♥ ) That is how much I can’t do the thing. 

So please, PLEASE do not bite my head off for not being comfortable writing with your canon-parented OC. It’s not you, it’s my OCD. I will HAPPILY write with your other muses. Just not those. Thanks for reading.

// that actually made me really upset, so I’m gonna go to bed. :/ I’ve been working really hard to update my blog and get everything in better order for my writing partners, making things legible and easy to find, and trying to make myself churn out at LEAST a reply a day (even though i usually fail) and today i was ENJOYING writing rapidfire replies, something I haven’t done in ages, and then someone had to go and give me shit for it? Really? Why? 

ugh. I’ll be in a better mood tomorrow, but, that really made me angry.
