Well, deadlock never acts like he wants to be petted.
that deadpan stare starts as you make your approach. The lips grimace revealing fangs as that hand reaches down. The deep growl begins as your hand is just inches away from his fluffy head. Then the yowling begins as his claws angrily knead and the ground in anticipation.
first contact is made- but not by your choice, by deadlock lunging up and sinking his teeth into your fingers. You try to pull away but kitty got his claws in you.
luckily, he’s cute. And he’s a cat that needs care Dispite his mean attitude, so care for him will continue.
maybe you won’t loose as many fingers if you weren’t late with his dinner. ;)
