The first time Kitty threw a punch, it was at her brother. They were still traveling to Gemini, and it had been a stupid fight, one she still regrets but would never tell Collin that. He had said something along the lines of her lack of faith getting them killed, and Kitty had been so tired of hearing about faith and his reminders of their father that she just turned and threw a punch as hard as she could at him. Of course he dodged it, and her fist connected with a brick wall.

It was basically the end of the world, so seeing a doctor wasn’t an easy task to do, and Kitty simply jerked her hand away from Collin’s grip and told him that she was fine. When they got to Gemini, nurses looked over them to see if they were still healthy, and Collin brought up her hand. It turned out that because she threw the punch wrong, it connected with the brick in a way that one of her knuckle got a hairline fracture. She still has to deal with it today, the pain aching slightly whenever the seasons change or the weather turns out to be rainy.
