Kiviuq is an eternal wanderer. He walks, or travels by dog sled, kayak, or may be borne by huge fishes. Spirits, giants, cannibals, bears and sea monsters intermingle in Kiviuq's world, creating havoc for him.

While doing research on Inuit humour and sexuality, I've come across the Inuit epic of Kiviuq. Its pretty awesome and highly recommended for people curious about the Inuit oral storytelling tradition. This website takes versions of the Kiviuq tales from 40 different elders.
