also 8, 21, and 40 for the Guardian ask game

Normally I do one oc per ask but i'll do all three of my main fireteam lol. For this ask game.

8. How do they view their revival? Would they rather have stayed dead or be revived?

This is something I haven't thought about for my guys, so I don't have an answer for this oops

21. What do the Vanguard think of them?

Kiyahn: They get along well and appreciate his botany knowledge! Aside form that, it's nothing to write home about.

Matthan: Mattie spends the most time out of his fireteam with the Vanguard as the Young Wolf/player guardian. For the longest time there was a rumor floating around that he was Zavala's and Ikora's kid (he's a human/Awoken hybrid) due to their closeness, but this has mostly died down after him and his (Awoken) mother reunited and she moved into the City post-Red War.

Sibyl-1: She's a bit too short tempered and impulsive for Zavala's tastes, Cayde likes her for those exact reasons, and Ikora likes her.

40. How long was your Guardian dead for before they were revived? What age were they revived in?

Kiyahn: Hmmmm, about a century or two for him perhaps. He's an Earthborn revived during the Dark Age, so it depends on when the Earthborn Awoken arrived.

Matthan: I believe I have it as fifty years or so? Not a long time. City Age, as the player guardian.

Sibyl-1: Noooo clue tbh. Will have to think about that.

ooo henlo! first ask ever :D

I shall ramble about my Warlock plant nerd, Kiyahn. He's an Awoken Dawnblade and my Destiny oc blorbo who is getting, er, transplanted in some other fandoms (though one isn't really a fandom lol).

His Ghost's name is Angel and he used to have a queerplatonic partner, a human Hunter named Bailey. Kiyahn permanently lost an eye during the Battle of Burning Lake, and has a fancy eyepatch.

Kiyahn loves plants, and was a bontanist in his first life. After his resurrection during the Dark Age, he was drawn back into it, happily worked towards relearning what he forgot, and equally as happily applying what he could of his knowledge towards helping villages, other settlements, and eventually the City!

I like to imagine him as being among the first Awoken lightbearers, not knowing why he's different for a good while until he comes across the Iron Lords or City Guardians and learns from them :D

I was out of the fandom for a good few years - I think the last canon event I learned about while actually In the fandom was Saint and the Infinite Forest? Anyways, Kiyahn (who had a different name at first) was one of my newer ocs at that time. He had only a fraction of the info he does now - I came back, looked at my ocs, and went "oh god, you all need updates!"

I need to draw him sometime ;-;
