Regarding the poll. Azula's a dom with people she outranks (e.g. Ty Lee) and/or are younger than her (e.g. Kiyi), a switch with people her age who are the same status as her (e.g. Zuko) and a sub for people she trusts who outrank her (e.g. Ozai and Fire Lady Ursa) or are older than her (e.g. non-Fire Lady Ursa).
So basically, circumstantial switch? That's my headcanon, anyway.

That said its also not impossible for Kiyi to outrank Azula either so...
