Normally, the smell of fire and smoke that lingered around Dabi was something that did not bother her. Yet, now, as she fled from those same flames that were obviously directed at her, Himiko’s opinion clearly shifted.

“...!!”

She was quick, but so was Dabi. In the confusion of her own predicament, she had sought out all the members of the League, hoping that they could help her. Yet, she had been disappointed, as she had been glared at, just like how the League viewed all heroes. Despite any attempts to speak with him, to explain, were futile.

Himiko should have expected that; Dabi was not a merciful man, after all.

hifumi neatly sidesteps the other man, dropping and barely catching the cup of coffee he’d been carrying. too little too late, however, as he manages to avoid dropping the cup, but spills the coffee all over the ground... and a little onto the man’s shoes. hifumi grins awkwardly. it’s--not really a real smile, more the sort of forced expression one gets in an uncomfortable situation.

still, he looks sheepish, something like apologetic. ❝ oopsies... ❞

Pizza or burgers, pizza or burgers...He should probably bring something home to Lio, but he could always eat a burger now and then bring a few pizzas home later. While he was waiting, the head cook recognized him:

“‘Ey! Galo! Things’ve been way better since you fixed that vent - no more kitchen fires!”

“Eheh, that was pretty simple, you know!” He rubbed the back of his head, grin nearly as loud as his voice was. The shop was mostly empty.

“You here for that free pizza?”

Cocking his head to the side, and then another, he shrugged. “How ‘bout instead you,” he jabbed a thumb at the other guy behind him. He’d noticed him when he walked in, burn scars and all. “Give that guy a free burger or whatever he wants, and then give me a burger, everything on it, extra jalapenos! Oh, and four pizzas to go!”

Turning back to the guy, he offered a grin.

“I’m just that good a guy! Besides, this place is great. I’d rather give them my money.”

Amalie is trying to make a decision. Well, she had been, before the quakes had started. It hadn’t seemed bad at first, and she’d stared at the window and watched it go on and on until a light post went through a building across the street, and Amalie had decided right then to get the absolute hell out. To the opposite end of the city, even, and that’s how she had packed a bag and set off towards Archimedes. 

Trekking through the rains in Golden Ward had left her with her hair plastered to her head, and a building feeling of rage. Maybe it would be easier to make a decision when she was angry. 

The storms build as she enters Archimedes, and Amalie, with wet hair and a sour expression, sticks to cover, skulking between the houses and taking shelter under a tree with thick branches. If the lightning got too bad, she’d have to take additional precautions, but for now, Amalie was content to meditate, and shiver. Rain soaked to the bone rather quickly. 

Spotting a familiar sort of face, even in this weather, prompts Amalie to call out from her hiding spot, a hint of snark in her tone. 

“Don’t tell me you’re thinking of taking a walk in this mess.”

Security Breach! ➠ starter for @kizuatto

Flames. Heat and flames. Octavio had just been looking for a replacement part for his camera, having exhausted it recording the gravity fluctuations when flames erupted into the floor he was on. Blue flames. He knows those flames.

But currently, he’s stuck on the 224th floor of a massive sky scraper in a place where gravity could, at any moment, decide to just wrench him through the floor and to his pancake-y death. Fire in the stairs. Fire in the hallway. Panicking people running from both His options are search for a safe exit (boring), or risk the window (marginally less boring).

The glass shatters easily when he takes it feet-first. He slides down the exterior of the skyscraper, metal feet and knees screeching against the glass to slow his decent. As soon as he catches sight of the source of the flames, he kicks the window in on the lower floor and crashes in with a roll to his feet. He shakes it off and cups one hand around the side of his mouth to shout, hoping to get Dabi’s attention and find out what the hell he’s doing.

❝ ¡Que paso, amigo! You got a thing against drywall? ❞

LIMITED OPERATION. STAND BY. 06:55... 06:55...

ƒ. Her legs were starting to feel the weight of her whole frame. All this action was taking a toll on her body yet pure adrenaline kept those effects at their minimum. She still remained surprised that Mirio without nearly as much weekly training as her could keep up effortlessly. Just, how much endurance did this guy have? 

Hibiki’s sight didn’t even consider looking anywhere else than forwards as they approached the next hole. She didn’t even care about this whole tug of power between these Stars and GPU but if this was going to help return everything to normalcy, then she sure as hell would help. She didn’t want to come back, not now not with all the people she has met thus far. 

A blue-ish flare at around 50 meters from them forced her to halt her march, a deep, almost rotten smell of burned flesh and metal penetrating her nostrils.  ❝ W-What the... ❞

The smell of burning flesh, flickers of blue flame-- it all culminated in nostalgia for the blonde. She knew that to follow such clues would end up bringing her to the side of another member of the League. So, bearing a wide grin, Himiko did just that.

As she made the brief journey, Himiko took note that the trail she now followed was rife with scorched earth and building, as well as broken bodies of both beast and men. Humming, Himiko paid the carnage no mind, all too pleased to find more clues that lead her to someone she viewed as a comrade.

Despite the way to her supposed destination being quite well laden with destruction, the trek itself was short. After all, it wasn’t too difficult to spot a man as unique as Dabi. Laughing and raising her hands about, Himiko called out to the fellow villain, thoroughly pleased to see him.

“Dabiiiii!”
