desert nights: Loves spending nights at parties, concerts, races, or anything else that makes lots of noise. There’s something haunting to him about quiet desert nights. Too many memories of hunger and fear. Of running. Of white masks. Its pretty easy to find a way to drown it out, but the nights where theres nothing are hard, and usually lead to hard mornings. those nights Kobra needs to be near poison, to know they’re there.

ray gun: Tricked the fuck out. Kobra’s a total tech guy and LOOOVES tricking shit out. He has multiple modes, a mini radio (that doesnt work), a voice recorder (that only sometimes works), and a tiny game of frogger (practically impossible to play, just there to brag about). 

radiation: Not as bad as jet (desert born) or ghoul (dumbass), but his nails do glow in the dark sometimes, and that’s pretty cool/terrifying

Rival: him and Show Pony Do Not Vibe. They’ve tried to have fun and find a middle ground, but they always manage to butt heads over something. Jet thinks Pony is condescending and annoying and Pony thinks Jet is boring and stuck up. They’ve learned to stay out of each others way, but when they’re stuck together, it can get ugly.

Friends:other than the 4, he really vibes with cherri. Sometimes they’ll write together as a sort of duo project. Sometimes, they’ll even go on Dr. Ds and do live performances, but for the most part, they just write for themselves. The few recordings that do exist go for crazy carbons in the scene, and when someone managed to swipe an actual demo from Cherri during a fight, it was passed around and swiped and listened to so much that any musician worth their gun knows every note, word, and chord down to their soul.

Art: Jet’s a musician down to his bones. he has dozens of mixtapes and notes scattered, songs lost on the waves. Sometimes he adds lyrics, but he can usually get everything he wants across with just a guitar. He also loves repairing and DIYing clothes, especially with The Girl. If you see her wearing something especially shiny, you can assume she made it with Jet Star

cooking/food: Poisons a big advocate for cooking bugs, even though ghoul and kobra think it’s nasty. They’re pretty good at finding plants and spices in the desert, and are working with Cherri to make a small greenhouse in the back of the diner so they don’t have to go scavenging whenever they want some nettle leaf on their lizard.

Background: Little is known about poison’s life before the zones and the fabulous killjoys. There’s the obvious, him an Kobra are from the city, they ran, they’re here now, but everything after that is rumor. Some say they were an artist for the city, designing ads and uniforms, before getting sick of the limitations put on their art and running. Others say they were a crow in training who couldn’t take the cruelty. Some say Kobra and Poison were in treatment facilities, and were freed by the Phoenix Witch herself. Some say they fell in love and had it ripped away. One person actually claimed to be Poison’s long lost lover once while calling into Dr Ds show, but it just Ghoul doing a high pitched voice while The Girl giggled in the background.

There’s two things that Poison’s had for as long as anyone can remember. The rosary wrapped around their wrist, and a small feather taped to the Trans-Ams dashboard. Kobra accidentally let it slip once that the rosary was their aunts, but clammed up right afterwards, threatening to stab anyone asking for more. The feather, however, is unknown even to Kobra. When asked, Poison just smiles and says that “a friend” gave it to him. The air around it always feels different, and poisons been seen talking to it more than once.
