It’s winter

Before the year is over I want to post one last picture of my OC Lora I invented this year. She came a long way from World Building June and Inktober (and there’s still a ton of questions about her in need of an answer). Have a happy new year and enjoy whatever holidays you have!

Joker (part two) - Lullaby

@gregor-never-leaves-the-house‘s prompt was “more magic!” (thank you!) and I thought hard which Spell I wanted to draw. As only Orators can work this kind of magic other people have no possibility to magically calm their babies. Lullabies, promises and warnings are so-called non-magical Spells as they have no magical power per se but are considered to influence the world to a certain degree. And sure, after singing the lullaby twenty times almost every baby is finally asleep.

And that’s it for Inktober 2017! I’m off to a nice short holiday in Italy :D

Cuddles

Lora loves sneaking up on people and cuddle them. She also tells her kid embarrassingly often how much she loves them. All her friends and family love her hugs. But when some mysterious stranger shows up and starts cuddling her Lora blushes heavily and giggles excitedly.

The Island and Beachwear (I morphed two prompts into one because no time)

This is one of the rare times Lora’s on beach holiday with her family. This is near the big city and the view features the island in the bay. The Outsiders who came here years ago now are restricted to this lonely rock in the sea because Kjelman people are very sceptic about these strangers. They trade knowledge and goods but these contacts are heavily regulated. Meanwhile, Lora got pushed into the harbour by her kid.

This is a very rough sketch about I imagine Lora’s house to be. It’s a big, three-stories high house with a garden in the backyard.

Lora has emotions and is very cute with it. She almost always keeps her emotions in control in fear of using her Spell magic unintentionally. Around her family she’s more relaxed and then she blushes all the time because her partners are too cute.
