Hello Hachiko 💕 (Warning: emotionally long post ahead) . . It’s amazing how God grants our silliest little requests. It’s been a dream of mine to see the statue of Hachiko (huge fan of film, story & doggos) as well as Shibuya Crossing. Since we got to Tokyo early Saturday morning, it’s been raining non stop because of a strong typhoon that’s just hit Japan (we’re fine, but the windows are making noises cause the winds and rain are so strong huhu) . . We tried to go see Hachiko last night but because of the rain not only was it too dark for a picture, but all the umbrellas were blocking him and I couldn’t get a decent shot. I wanted to cry out of sadness and frustration. I even fought with Trina and my Mom cause I was so mad and upset about it #bratinella 😔 So last night I prayed and asked God for clear skies so we could visit Hachiko again today. And you know what? It barely rained all day today! Not only did I get this amazing shot, but I got to walk around Shibuya Crossing like a crazy fool (thanks @kachoftheday and @marilesbarretto for walking too lol) . . I guess what I’m getting at is GOD LISTENS. And not only does He listen, HE ACTS. He loves us all so much that no matter how silly we can be, He gives so much importance to our heart’s desires that He grants our requests. Happy to be home but sad to have left such a wonderful country. Thank you Japan for being nothing short of amazing! From the cold weather to the delicious food, kind people and clean & orderly surroundings, our vacay in Fukuoka exceeded my expectations.
