Natalia Lafourcade - “Ella Es Bonita”
I was taking a drive and this song came on public radio. It’s pretty good.
It’s not something I’d normally listen to, but KKXT’s international night always has interesting songs. I like this one.

2017 hasn’t been a disappointment so far. Today has been pretty good actually. KKXT 91.7 is having a Bob Dylan marathon for about an hour. My roommate has some guy over for a date so he told me I gotta kinda stay out of the way, but I’m usually just hanging out here in the office anyway. Did my laundry, picked up some Whataburger for dinner. I have to pee.
The Residents - “Make Me Moo”
A local public radio station (91.7 in Dallas) just played the freaking RESIDENTS on the radio. I never thought I’d live to see the day (even though this is probably the most conventional sounding song they ever did it’s still THE RESIDENTS WERE ON THE EFFING RADIO!).
This is why I donate during their pledge drives. Plus I get a cool t-shirt or mug.
My absolute favorite radio station just started their summer pledge drive. So now I have much less to listen to while driving to and fro work. I only complain because they give so MUCH good Dallas/Ft. Worth music and any other Indy type of music around the world (Thank you "Intenet Cafe" at 9 pm) you can think of. So now I'll be stuck with radio DJ's interrupting every 30 songs or so to ask for money. Jeez. I gave you $50 last year and all I got was a lousy KKXT t-shirt! I'm a fan. I deserve your commercial free music! (I'm being a bit silly.) God bless you, KKXT. 91.7 FM
Thank you KXT
For playing my favorite Cure song (fascination street) then followed by Lana Del Rey.
I couldn't breath without you.
