I just wasted 40 minutes of my life watching Carina's Q/A video to check if she answered any of my questions. I am shocked at her ignorance about the characters of her show. I mean it is almost as if she is insulting my intelligence for even watching this show.I was truly & utterly outraged at one point a fan asked why could Hayley not have more kids and she couldn't explain it properly so she said something on the lines of guys its a vampire show its not real, we just made it up, idk WHAT!

Carina posted a 40 minute video answering fan questions: youtube. com/watch?v=f9VJRsLT8RQ I don't know if anyone wants to watch the whole thing or not, but it's up. She said she wasn't going to answer any controversial ship questions or give away any spoilers for the episodes that haven't aired yet so there may not be much of interest.

Carina wasn't talking about Klaroline or anything TVD related - just TO so she didn't answer anything about Klayley, Klamille or Haylijah. The only ship she really talked about was Jaiden and how Aiden is her favorite character to write, the actor is one of her best friends and how she loved him and Josh. She also talked about DS a lot - said he lives on her street so she doesn't miss him and sees him all the time. She did say that because they couldn't get Nate the recasts idea came about then.

Dude, I know this amount of info warrants a bigger response, but all I can think is AIDEN IS HER FAVORITE CHARACTER TO WRITE (?!?!?!?!?!).

Hey, I asked carina this question during her Q/A which btw she never answered to any my million questions , so I am turning to you. Hayley is a mystery to me: She had ONS with Klaus, she probably even had ONS with Tyler , she is Elijah's Love Interest has ONS with him, probably the way writers say it his OTP, Mother of the most hyped magical baby of the universe, alpha king Jackson's wife . But she never slept with Marcel? why is Marcel left behind,? I feel cheated ;P

I mean Marcel is an equally important character, why cant he have Hayley's goodness?

Yeesh. Well I’m not particularly surprised that Carina didn’t answer your question, because why would she, obviously none of the writers would ever want to acknowledge that every significant relationship Hayley has on the show outside of her relationship with the baby tends to focus on her sexual availability or viability to that character, which is so utterly and insanely misogynistic I can hardly believe it’s real. But as for your question, I think that’s pretty much the answer. Hayley’s “story” is defined and guided by her romantic relationship to other characters, so she has no romantic connection with Marcel because he’s not relevant to her story. However if the writers ever did decide that they had something they wanted to explore between Hayley and Marcel I’d be absolutely shocked if they didn’t explore that by Marcel taking a romantic interest in Hayley.

Have you seen the deleted scene of Tyler's Crossover in TO. It goes a few seconds longer but we see that Klaus actually takes away his ability to change at will, He compels him to turn every full moon and it hurting him like the first time it did. I wonder why they cut it? I mean they changed him back to human at the end of S5 anyway so they could have just as well gone with it.

Yeah I did see that and I thought it was strange that they cut it, although I assume it was just for their own convenience so they didn’t have to show Tyler turn.

Why do people think that Caroline will turn it on in this episode before/during the wedding.I think it is totally possible she has the switch off even during the wedding. That is the only way she would have turned up at the wedding looking hot/non-guilty. Maybe they logically talk sense to her and she understands that even with switch off she doesn't have to be a murderous psychopath. I think her turning the switch on should be something more significant.. or at-least I am hoping it will be .

Actually that’s a pretty fair point, it’s very possible she doesn’t have her humanity on yet at all.

Also , sharing your link was something I was kinda on fence about (my concern being intellectual property et al) but I saw a few other peeps sharing your link so I was encouraged. I will take care to inform my twittermates about it now :)

Oh yeah, sharing a link is totes fine. Screenshotting and reposting irks me a bit but I can deal with it so long as it’s not being screenshotted for the sake of being shitty to me or being shitty about something I wrote (which obviously isn’t the case with most KC fans, but people from other fandoms have done that to me before and it drives me absolutely insane).

LOL exactly. The only way I’d ever get annoyed with anyone sharing my stuff on other social media is if they’re basically using it just to be a jerk to someone (which I would assume you are not haha), but I have had instances of stuff kind of like that happening and somehow finding it’s way back to tumblr, basically leaving me smack dab in the middle of a massive fight/stan meltdown with absolutely no clue that it was even happening. And it’s not like that kind of thing doesn’t happen on tumblr either, but if it does I normally see it happening as soon as it starts or I’m told by someone else that there may be some shit starting so it’s not quite as shocking and weird.

Point definitely noted! I will personally take care to not share your opinions on a public platform again. I am sorry if my posting your meta has caused any discomfort, I apologize sincerely and hope you understand it wasn’t intentional. Sorry! :(

LOL really it’s not a big deal, I obviously know that there’s no malice intended when anyone does that (quite the opposite really), it’s just that I’ve had situations like that get really uncomfortable on more than one occasion so if you post something to twitter and it becomes kind of a discussion point with people I’d just like a heads up. And the same goes for anyone else who shares my stuff on twitter or IMDb or something, I really don’t mind so long as it’s not being used in an antagonistic manner, but if it starts catching some negative attention I’d like to know so I’m not suddenly greeted with a bunch of insanity that to me seems to have come out of nowhere. It’s a pretty rare occurence but there are a few fandoms that will really come at people hard if they disagree with them, so it’s always good to have some notice that a fuckery wave might be coming your way.
