Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay // Klaugara
The last couple days had been rough to say the least- but in Megara’s life, nights like those were like any other Monday. Her muscles still trying to loosen, the electrical tension between her nerves. Megara might not ever be able to get used to the pain done to her body in between werewolf transition, from mentally and physically one moment, to craving to kill any living thing who strikes her path the next. However, she couldn’t fight what she was. This spurts of torture at this point of her life had become expected.
Transformations were growing to be much more excruciating ever since she had began taking wolfsbane earlier in the school year. There are always pros and cons with anything you choose. Everything comes with a price- even magic these days isn’t a perfect science. The same could be said with wolfsbane. Meg was able to control her temper and her nightmares and her actions during transformations. However, she would find the pain to come at full throttle at ten times the masses as before. Mentall, she would be saved, but she would have to live through the physical torture of her transformations every full moon.
It had already been a few days after the full moon had come and gone. Megara always took a few days, sometimes a full week, to actually recover. It was hard, having to fight off her demons alone. Well, she wasn't alone. She did have Klaus. And he was wonderful. But she never let him accompany her throughout this process. Meg wasn't ready for him to see such an ugly side of her. So as a compromise, after her long few days, Meg would agree to meet Klaus at the dock of the Black Lake, usually on the afternoons. To let him know when she would be there, she would send an owl from the Shrieking Shack, and almost immediately, she take the right passageways to the outside, find the dock, and sit, waiting for Klaus.
