Visited the @montclairstateu #GeorgeSegal Gallery last night. Here’s a long view of the artist’s “Summer Cabin” on a cold winter’s night. The current exhibit honors the career of #KlausSchnitzer, who is retiring from the school after 49 years. Thirty three years is a long time ago. I photographed Klaus Schnitzer in 1990 for the cover of the Montclair State College Magazine. We shot these on Ellis Island where he had been bringing his students to document the buildings for a book that was published by Aperture. Klaus inspired multitudes of young minds throughout his fifty years as a photography professor.
