Favourite thing about George?

AHHHHH! oh man.

ok. so there’s a lot of appealing things abt george: guitar skills, hot bod, songwriting, etc... but i feel that my most favorite thing about him is that such a person existed. that’s probably... that’s why i like the beatles as a whole really. it’s nuts that they were actually real! that’s amazing! the kind of things they did? totally unbelievable. i once read a quote that went to the tune of “if you encountered a person from a universe where the beatles never existed, and you told them The Story of the Beatles, they’d never believe it was a true story.” because the shit they did and accomplished was nuts!! how astronomical that these four young men could meet and make music in such a way as to completely change the world. nuts. (but maybe the odds are astronomically against the beatles never meeting, because they always needed to exist. because the world needed music videos and to send their song into space and all the other convoluted things they accomplished.) but back to george. to have come from exactly where he did, to grow and change as a person the way he did was absolutely beautiful. i feel like by learning all that i have about him, that i really watched him grow up, in a way. like i’ve been watching him live his entire life, all the way up to the end, and i’m so proud of the way he turned out. he’s the person who i would most like to meet, out of anybody who ever lived. of course, aside from his existing, my favorite part about george are his songs. i love hearing his words from his mouth, just they way he wanted them heard. and for all the kinda shit or silly songs he did (lookin at you wah-wah), there were ten amazing ones. The kind of songs he wrote are the kind that really just stick with you. unbeknownst to me, i’ve favored george’s songs since forever. here comes the sun? god damn near best song ever written. i’ve loved that song since forever, in a really heart-wrenching way. i’m not even sure i knew who the beatles were when i first really listened to that song, but it made me cry anyways. even when i started listening to the beatles and couldn’t figure out who was singing lead on what songs, i favored george’s songs. (that’s how u know it’s for realz.) all things must pass, something, here comes the sun, my sweet lord. why do i love all these songs so goddamn much??? i don’t know!!! but i’m glad i do and i’m glad george made those songs, and i’m glad i can listen to them and know him through them, at least this little tiny bit, you know? cuz you really can’t know somebody you’ve never met, spoken to, but through music and through song, you can learn just a little bit more about who’s singing it. it’s through music that a kind of truer self is revealed. you can’t really lie about yourself in song, even if you’re telling somebody else’s story.

Let it down yesss

I know I’m so proud of shuffle it clearly knows what I like. Remember when I said that was my favorite song on ‘All Things Must Pass’ and you replied exactly the same way? haha it was such a coincidence it came on shuffle since I’m up to 3,809 songs on my phone. I think I’m addicted to downloading music help

Dear future me. I hope you’re doing good. It’s hard to imagine you having a great time, but I hope you figured out a way to go through the hard times you’ve had. I also do hope you and your best friend have seen all the cities you’ve planned to see and that you have found some more people to bring.
