Hylian scholars had written extensively about the ‘legend’ of the great dragon that had once ruled over Death Mountain, and as with most stories of fantastic creatures Ganondorf had read nearly everything the Hyrule Castle library had to offer on the subject. Even with all that had been written of him, it seemed that the dragon’s exact fate was little more than speculation—even on the part of the Gorons who inhabited the mountain.
That the dragon Volvagia had been defeated by the Megaton Hammer was indisputable fact, but beyond that information the assorted tales all spoke of different events. Some said the dragon was killed, others that he was imprisoned and left to die. But it was the telling that suggested the dragon was still locked up deep beneath its mountain home that interested Ganondorf most.
As with the Gerudo, the lizard races were not a subject Hylians wrote about with any fondness. They cared that they were violent, destructive creatures, but finding information about their governance was frustratingly difficult. The only mention of a ruler that Ganondorf had come across was related to that very same dragon. That the Lizalfos and the others still existed, even on the fringes of Hyrule, said something of their governance.
Since his takeover in Castle Town, Ganondorf had begun to notice their presence more strongly than before. Capturing a Lizalfos to question posed no issue, but when asked about the line of command among its people the creature had refused to speak until Ganondorf swore that, if the dragon still lived, he would free him from his prison and aid him in reclaiming their rightful place on Death Mountain. He’d gotten answers then, and in its enthusiasm the Lizalfos had even offered to lead Ganondorf there himself.
The tunnels beneath Death Mountain were multitudinous, a winding labyrinth that descended into heat and boiling lava that never cooled or calmed. The sheen of sweat glistened on Ganondorf’s brow, the only sign that he was at all affected by the high temperatures. As they descended further, however, Ganondorf was forced to cast a ward against the blistering heat. The air was hard to breathe in and Ganondorf knew when they were close to the chamber where the dragon resided; even he felt faint in the heat of that tunnel, so much more intense was it than anything he had ever experienced.
The Lizalfos turned a corner and Ganondorf followed. He stopped in his tracks at the sight that was revealed by the twist in the tunnel: before him lay a great red dragon, more impressive even than had been written in legend for its sheer realness. Ganondorf was not intimidated by the sight, but even his ambitions had not prepared him for the reality of such a great beast.
The only hindrances to its magnificence were the thick iron bands that encircled its extremities. But Ganondorf bore the Triforce of Power—he was mightier than any object of Goron construction. If this meeting went as planned, he had no doubts that he could break the chains keeping Volvagia prisoner.

Headcanon meme - send me a symbol and I’ll describe my muse’s…♫ - singing voice✿ - laugh
Copy/pasting the first since it’s been answered~!
El is actually quite the little songbird. She can sing very well and enjoys doing so very much. When alone, she loves to sing to herself; though as soon as she is around others, the singing promptly will turn to humming. Like her voice pitch, she’s a soprano.
ps if u ever want to make her embarrassed, just walk in on her singing and compliment her on it. it’ll work every time.
As for her laugh, I often describe it as “chiming”, as it is very much like bells. Just like her voice, it’s quite high pitched, but not annoyingly high pitched…though Argorok would definitely say otherwise heheh. She’s more prone to giggle than to full-on laugh most times; though if she finds something incredibly amusing, she will definitely burst out in laughter and likely there will be snorts intermingled in. How ladylike! ouo
