Day 2: I have been nominated by the gifted @ohhelloholly to post seven books that I love, one book per day, no exceptions, no reviews, just covers. I am going to do a slightly different take - I’m going to think of my favorite books at certain ages and provide a little context.

My first “chapter book”. It was this edition in a full box-set.

hard candy: what is your favorite time of day?

I love early morning when the sun is rising and the light is tinged blue, everything is quiet and still and peaceful both in the apartment and out in the complex, and I have what feels like the entire world to myself.

rocking chair: what are some of your favorite words?

In English: Cellar, necklace, green, willow, minnow, paper, and wedding. In Welsh: Glas, cynefin, nefoedd, and niwl.

I see improvement from when I started for sure. Thanks, @klirving! The goal is this (just the first 10 seconds is enough for an example)
